The Wilmington Police Department, the City of Wilmington, Wilmington School District 209-U, the Wilmington Park District and the Wilmington Coalition For a Healthy Community participated in Wilmington Night Out on Sunday September 28 2025 at the Wilmington High School. Wilmington Night Out is a positive community event inspired by National Night Out to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in the pursuit of a safer community.
